Hundreds of dead fish at Poudre d'Or
Last Monday 27th of January 2014, a fisherman found hundreds of sardines decaying on the shore at Poudre d'Or. The dead fish were giving some foul smell which then attracted the attention of the nearby people. These were in a state of decomposition as witnessed by several other inhabitants.
The fisherman who noticed these dead fish immediately made a complaint to the police at Poudre d'Or and the Ministry of Fisheries. The authorities concerned took a water sample and some fish for analysis. The results are expected to be known by the end of February 2014.
